  • Mixing bowl
  • Parchment paper
  • Microwave-safe Bowl

Ingredients

For the Oreo Truffles

  • 1 package Oreo cookies 15.35 oz
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 8 oz chocolate dark, milk, or white, for coating

Instructions

  • Step 1: Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a zip-top bag and crushing them with a rolling pin.
  • Step 2: In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies with the softened cream cheese. Mix until well combined and the mixture is smooth.
  • Step 3: Using your hands, form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Step 4: Once all the balls are formed, freeze them for about 30 minutes to firm up.
  • Step 5: While the truffles are freezing, melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals and stirring until smooth.
  • Step 6: Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate, coating it completely, and then place it back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Step 7: Allow the chocolate to set at room temperature or refrigerate for faster results.
  • Step 8: Once set, serve the Oreo truffles or store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to enjoy.

Notes

To keep your truffles fresh, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They will stay delicious for about a week, but I doubt they will last that long!
