One-Pan Chicken with Buttered Noodles

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika on both sides.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the olive oil. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  • Reduce the heat to medium and add the butter to the same skillet. Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
  • Add the egg noodles to the skillet, ensuring they are mostly submerged in the liquid. Cover and cook for about 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the noodles are tender and have absorbed the flavors.
  • Once the noodles are cooked, stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and mix well until the sauce becomes creamy.
  • Slice the cooked chicken and place it on top of the noodles. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley for a burst of flavor and color.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy this comforting, one-pan meal with rich, buttery noodles and perfectly seasoned chicken!
