2 tablespoons honey 🍯
1 small pear, thinly sliced 🍐
Fresh thyme leaves (optional) 🌿
A pinch of flaky sea salt 🧂
Crackers or crusty bread for serving 🥖
Instructions 👩🍳
1️⃣ Preheat the Oven:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2️⃣ Prepare the Brie:
Place the brie on a parchment-lined baking sheet or in a small ovenproof dish.
Optional: Gently score the top of the brie with a knife in a crosshatch pattern to let the toppings seep in better.
3️⃣ Top the Brie:
Layer fig slices and chopped walnuts on top of the brie.
Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with a few thyme leaves, if using.
4️⃣ Bake the Brie:
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the brie is soft and gooey but not completely melted.
5️⃣ Add Final Touches:
Carefully transfer the brie to a serving plate.
Arrange pear slices around the brie for dipping or layering.
Drizzle with a little more honey, sprinkle with flaky sea salt, and garnish with additional thyme leaves.
6️⃣ Serve:
Serve warm with crackers or sliced baguette. Encourage guests to scoop up the cheese along with its luscious toppings.
