Ingredients
  

  • 1 wheel of brie cheese 8 oz 🧀
  • 2 fresh figs sliced 🍑
  • 1/4 cup walnuts chopped 🌰
  • 2 tablespoons honey 🍯
  • 1 small pear thinly sliced 🍐
  • Fresh thyme leaves optional 🌿
  • A pinch of flaky sea salt 🧂
  • Crackers or crusty bread for serving 🥖

Instructions
 

  • 1 wheel of brie cheese (8 oz) 🧀
  • 2 fresh figs, sliced 🍑
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped 🌰
  • 2 tablespoons honey 🍯
  • 1 small pear, thinly sliced 🍐
  • Fresh thyme leaves (optional) 🌿
  • A pinch of flaky sea salt 🧂
  • Crackers or crusty bread for serving 🥖

  • 1️⃣ Preheat the Oven:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • 2️⃣ Prepare the Brie:
  • Place the brie on a parchment-lined baking sheet or in a small ovenproof dish.
  • Optional: Gently score the top of the brie with a knife in a crosshatch pattern to let the toppings seep in better.
  • 3️⃣ Top the Brie:
  • Layer fig slices and chopped walnuts on top of the brie.
  • Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with a few thyme leaves, if using.
  • 4️⃣ Bake the Brie:
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the brie is soft and gooey but not completely melted.
  • 5️⃣ Add Final Touches:
  • Carefully transfer the brie to a serving plate.
  • Arrange pear slices around the brie for dipping or layering.
  • Drizzle with a little more honey, sprinkle with flaky sea salt, and garnish with additional thyme leaves.
  • 6️⃣ Serve:
  • Serve warm with crackers or sliced baguette. Encourage guests to scoop up the cheese along with its luscious toppings.

Notes

Pro Tips:
Use fresh figs for vibrant flavor, but if unavailable, rehydrated dried figs work well.
Sprinkle pomegranate seeds for extra color and a tangy twist.
Toast the walnuts lightly beforehand for a deeper, nuttier flavor.
