Dragon Fruit Blueberry Frappuccino in a Glass with Whipped Cream

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup frozen dragon fruit pitaya, cubed (pink-fleshed preferred)
  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup milk of choice almond, oat, or regular milk all work
  • 1/2 cup ice
  • 1/4 cup vanilla yogurt or coconut yogurt for dairy-free
  • 1 –2 tablespoons honey agave, or maple syrup (optional, to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional for layering:
  • Extra dragon fruit purée or blueberry syrup for swirl
  • Whipped cream dairy or non-dairy
  • Blueberry or dragon fruit pieces for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Add everything to a blender:
  • Combine dragon fruit, blueberries, milk, ice, yogurt, sweetener, and vanilla in a blender.
  • Blend until smooth:
  • Blend on high until the mixture is creamy and thick. Add a splash more milk if it’s too thick.
  • Add a swirl (optional):
  • Spoon a bit of dragon fruit or blueberry syrup around the inside of your cup for a layered, colorful effect.
  • Pour and top:
  • Pour the frappuccino into a glass. Add whipped cream and garnish with a few berries or extra purée if you like.
  • Serve immediately:
  • Add a straw, sip, and enjoy the fruity, tropical burst!
