Cranberry Pecan Stuffed Brie with Puff Pastry

Prep Time 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 Brie cheese wheel 8-12 oz
  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • ¼ cup dried cranberries
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary chopped (optional)
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
  • Crackers or sliced baguette for serving

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat the Oven
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry to about 12x14 inches.
  • Step 2: Assemble the Filling
  • In a small bowl, mix the dried cranberries, chopped pecans, honey, and rosemary (if using).
  • Step 3: Wrap the Brie
  • Place the Brie slightly off-center on the rolled-out puff pastry.
  • Spoon the cranberry-pecan mixture on top of the Brie.
  • Fold the longer side of the pastry over the Brie, then fold in the shorter edges to fully enclose the Brie, creating a neat package.
  • Step 4: Brush with Egg Wash
  • Brush the entire surface of the puff pastry with the beaten egg to ensure a golden, shiny finish.
  • Step 5: Bake
  • Place the wrapped Brie on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and crispy.
  • Step 6: Serve
  • Let the baked Brie cool for a few minutes before slicing.
  • Serve warm with crackers or sliced baguette for dipping.
